What a week!
This week has just been a joy. Despite missing one workout I have managed to swim a full Ironman distance in 1 hour and 30 minutes (in fact I swam 3.9 km instead of 3.8 just for fun :) I also (almost) finished a half marathon distance in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was 1 km short of the half marathon distance simply because I didn't want to do another loop around our house. If I add another 5 minutes for the last kilometer it's still a whopping 20 minutes (!!) faster then my last half marathon run.
Training seems to be paying off :)
The cycling part was a bit slow this week because of the weather getting worse (brace yourself, winter is coming) so I am basically just riding at a smallish pace of around 25 km/h and covering as much as possible. I'll try to add a bunch of hill sessions instead of this fast paces just because I can't ride fast anyway in this conditions without risking to be blown away by wind or slide of on the wet road.
