Let’s forget that the last 3 weeks ever happened.

It was just a perfect storm of illness, too much work and a bunch of other things happening at the same time that there isn’t really much to talk about.
I managed to get a few good sessions back to back. Had to substitute my swims a few times with rowing but in general I am pretty disappointed with how it all went down.
I am now going into a recovery week where I will be recovering more mentally than physically but that’s all part of the process.
The only two highlights were me finally swimming an ironman distance again and I had a nice half marathon race where I finished the race in around 1 hours and 36 minutes.
I am now focusing on week 24 which is a recovery and test week. I am hoping for small improvements and am looking positively into the last third of my preparations.
This week’s graph and table will have accumulated data for all three weeks because I just don’t feel like splitting everything by week since they all sucked :D
My weight is now steady at around 74 kg with my body fat and muscle mass switching places slowly.
Let’s now check out the train wreck of last three weeks of training.
Swim | Bike | Run | Strenght | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Distance | 12.1 (83.1) | 340.7 (2077.8) | 72.5 (600.7) | - |
Time | 2:45 (26:33) | 12:36 (88:20) | 5:44 (50:28) | 4:00 (29:20) |
Skipped | 11/46 | 4/61 | 5/63 | 0/46 |
Values in brackets show totals (bike distance is probably wrong because I keep having problems with my speed senson on the trainer)
While plugging in the numbers I realized I missed 6 sessions out of 22 which is only 25%. It really felt to me like I didn’t do half of the planned workouts so I am pleased and a little surprised about what was happened for the last 3 weeks.
Now it’s of to a recovery week and some testing to start the final third of my training in style.
Until then,
Stay curious.
