Book challenge, week 9

It took me a while to write a review about the latest book I’ve read. It’s called The Good Thief’s Guide to Amsterdam by Chris Ewan.

It’s a story about a writer named Charlie Howard who came to Amsterdam to finish his latest book. Writing books was his main profession but he was also a thief, and a very good one indeed. One day he was approached by a mysterious man whom he first only knew as The American. He wanted him to steal three small monkey figures. The figures themselves were worthless but they were hiding something far more valuable inside. The whole story will turn upside down a few times until everything gets sorted out at the end.

It was a very good book with a lot of fun moments. The story is nice and keeps you suspecting that every character is trying to hide something from you. You won’t know until the end of the story who is involved in what part of the story.

I really liked this book and the only rating I can give it is a clear 10/10. There are a few more thief’s guides which will definitely be on my list until the end of the year.

Until next time, don’t forget to be awesome
