Road to Ironman - Week 3

Just as you can have good days and bad days at the office, school or gym, you can also have entire weeks go one way or another. This week for me was (almost) perfect.

I was able to do some smaller (1 hour) bike rides, an awesome 3 km swim (!!!) and nailed (as far as my current for in concerned) the running workouts.

The cherry on top was a 7 hour (104 km) ride to Ivanić Grad and back to their 10th annual pumpkin fest. It took us 3 and a half hours to get there so we could spend some 2 hours watching people sell all kinds of stuff (my favorite is a "I am not a gynecologist, but I can still have a look" T-shirt), talk to a friend and watch as he moves to center stage as their "gastronomic association" Praščić (Croatia for piglet) scooped the first prize for their pumpkin cheese cake.

All in all it was a very nice week with just one small flaw in the shape of me missing out a swim training on Friday because of a water polo game.
