Every once in a while you just have a shitty week which needs to be forgotten as quick as possible. Last week was one of them.
My swim sessions were just a pain. On day 1 I simply forgot to eat something before training so I quickly ran out of gas which resulted in only 2 km being covered in 55 minutes. I did some technique drill to make at least something out of the session but I felt just like crap. On day 2 of swimming was again a victim of myself. I started the warm up to fast and felt like I was dying after 5 minutes but I was able to get into the a nice rhythm after a while and just as I was feeling awesome in the water there were 5 guys in my lane and then it's pretty much impossible to swim continuously. I again added some small drills but in the end decided it would be better to spend a few minutes outside the pool and do some nice stretching.
I only had one run training this week on Saturday because I just didn't feel like running in the rain. I usually don't mind being out in the rain but I hate the small drizzle kind of rain which doesn't get you really wet but makes your face feel awkward. I would rather have it pouring on me then feel like someone is spitting on me every now and then.
I had a good bike session during the week but then again, on the weekend, the second bike training was just a nightmare. I simply chose the wrong road to ride on. In dry conditions the road is a little bumpy but not so much to have a bad time but when it's wet you have to sail your way through huge puddles which get your feet wet in an instant and with temperatures close to 0 degrees Celsius (that's 32 degrees for you who use the wrong system). I ended up riding only for an hour instead of the planed 2 to 3 hours but it is what it is.
I'll just stick the numbers into the tables and pretend this week never happened :)
