Project: Sub 10 - week 9 (ramping up)

Another week is done and this one was a strange one. Having Christmas this week threw my schedule around a bit which resulted in my Sunday run being moved to Monday but other than that it went quite smooth.

It all started with a nice speed sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday and since I have to push now a lot more it felt quite difficult but still manageable. I pushed an average 229 watts on the bike while my average pace on the run was 4:35 min/km which includes warm-up and cool-down. I had a 5, 4, and 2 minute effort intervals which got progressively harder. The last, 2 minute, effort was all done under 4 min/km which is amazing if I take into account that I was running on a dirt road with a lot of gravel.

I finished the week with two bike sessions (1 hour and 2 hour) and a quick strength session.

I had been visiting family and friends for Christmas so I missed my Sunday running session but it will be take care of on Monday.
