Project: Sub 10 - week 10 (speed bump)

Hello all you lovely people! It looks like every 5th week is a small fight to finish it.

week 10.png

I started the week with a long 1 hour and 30 minutes run where everything just felt perfect. I kept my pace at around 4:45 min/km and felt great.

It moved onto a big speed workout with a total of 35 intervals of 20 second hard intervals (around 280 watts) and 40 seconds of rest. I had some trouble with this one because I zoned out quite a few times but in the end managed to get a great workout out of it.

Then the week just started falling apart with a speed session cut short after I started feeling dizzy and 2 long workouts at the end of the week cut short by some 25% (crazy times at the moment at home).

But in general I think I got a nice week behind me and ready for the final push before another recovery week.

Week 11 will be the longest so far with a lot of hard sessions. I have moved my long sessions to the end of the work week so I can execute them while our kid is in kindergarten. This will leave more time during the weekend for family obligations. I’ll try this arrangement out for a few weeks and switch it up again if needed.

Let’s head over to the numbers section and start another week.

Distance       Swim       Bike       Run
Week 0 km 93.6 km 35.3 km
Total 13.8 km 1000.3 km 248.8 km

Time       Swim       Bike       Run       Strength
Week 0 2:53 2:51 0:40
Total 8:31 34:14 15:53 7:01

Looks like I have cracked my first milestone of 1000 km on the bike. Sweet!

Until next week,
Stay healthy
