Project: Sub 10 (retry) - week 18

Oh boy!

Mike Tyson once said something along the lines of “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face”. And punched in the face I got.

The week started out quite nice. I did my usual speed session and was able to push great numbers. On Tuesday I had an awesome swim where I covered 3400 meters! The problems started piling up mid week.

Because of some personal issues I had to cut my almost 4 hour bike ride at 1 hour and 16 minutes and had to move the 20 minute run to a different day.

I had, though, a great run on Thursday. This is my second week of pushing the twins on the long run and I was able to cover 21 km (half marathon in training baby!). The great thing was that my average pace improved from 5:38 min/km to 5:28 min/km. The babies aren’t getting lighter but It looks like I am adjusting correctly :)

I had to skip the Friday swim because of, again, personal stuff so a bunch of work got moved to the weekend. They turned out to be quite productive so I am looking forward to the last week of this cycle before it’s recovery again.

*estimated by my scale

My weight is now stable at around 75kg which is really nice. If I take into account all the birthdays and gatherings that don’t really help much :)

Swim Bike Run Strenght

Values in brackets show totals (bike distance is probably wrong because I keep having problems with my speed senson on the trainer)

Let’s go into the last week of pushing!

Until then,
Stay awesome
