Project: Sub 10 (retry) - week 0

The game is on baby!

At the beginning of the year I have been deep into my Sub 10 hour at the Ironman Klagenfurt. COVID made things a little difficult, with swimming being only a distant dream.

Having twins born made things more fun (and sleepless) but time had to be cut out from somewhere and training was usually the first victim. “Lucky” for me IM Austria has been moved back because of, again, COVID. The option to defer to next year came in really handy.

I knew that the other option of a September start would be really hard to pull off so 2022 is what I took.

Now I am in week 0. Doing unstructured training and just getting my mind ready for the 36 (!!!) weeks of training which will result in me crossing the finish line in a time of 9:XX:XX.

It’s a big task but something I am really excited about doing.

I am excited about posting this all here again and get some extra motivation from the few people reading what I have on my mind every now and then.
