Book challenge, week 26

A bit late but still on time. Last week (and a bit of this week) I have been reading Jo Nesbo’s The Bat.

It’s the second book I have read (but the first in a series of books) about a Norwegian police officer Harry Hole. He has been sent to Sydney to help solving a murder of a female Norwegian celebrity, Inger Holter.

Harry was introduced to Andrew Kensington, an Australian Aborigine. They started the investigation and soon found themselves being stuck. They didn’t know if it was a serial killer, if she was raped before her death and there were in general more questions then answers.

They were wandering through the drug scene and trying to get a connection but every new attempt led to nowhere. One day they finaly had a breakthrough while they connected a series of blond women killed in areas that were visited by a traveling circus.

From here it was a roller coaster ride of suspects, twists and a few alcoholic crashes which at the end bring you to the killer.

I won’t tell you who it is because the book is really good and you should read it for yourself.

I give the book a 9/10 just because I felt it missed something I really can’t describe. Other then that the book is a great intro into the Harry Hole series.

I am close now to finish the book for this week so you can expect something quite soon.

Until then don’t forget to be awesome
