Road to Ironman - Week 38

Last time I'll be posting as a non-Ironman (I hope so)

It's been a hard week since I was quite swamped on my job so I didn't have much time to train but I managed to squeeze in a few training sessions and I am quite pleased with most of them.

I did two short open water swim sessions and both of them felt great! No strange feelings in my stomach, no (small) panic attacks, nothing. I just focused on my swimming and covered some good distance in a very good pace. The only thing that wasn't going as planed was a rash on my neck caused by the wetsuit. It was pretty unpleasant but nothing that a waterproof plaster won't solve :) 

My bike training was just a single ride up the Učka mountain which is 1400 above sea level. I covered the distance in 93 minutes which is more then 8 minutes faster then last time so I don't think much can go wrong  since the longest uphill in Nice will be "just" 850 meters or so :D

My second run was a little shorter then I wanted it to be since my hip was hurting again just like 2-3 months ago but I hope that it will heal till the race. I keep my fingers crossed that it will that the pain won't return on the race or at least show up when I am close to the finish line :)
