Project: Sub 10 (retry) - week 13

A pretty good week is in the books!

My week started again with speed sessions. I start to call them Monday speed bricks and I really enjoy them. These are hard but nice sessions once I am done with them.

I had a quick run on Tuesday since I couldn’t go swimming with a strength session later that day.

This was pretty much the only hick up this week. I had smaller problems on my long ride because I realized my watch battery is at 15% and once it got into the lower single digits I plugged it into the computer only to see it auto-stop my activity. Once I plugged it into the wall I could charge it and record my training at the same time (for whatever reason).

This weeks long run went for an hour and 40 minutes which is right at the mark where my treadmill automatically turns itself off :) From the next week onwards, I will have to restart my treadmill to be able to finish a workout. Now that’s an achievement!

The rest of the week was pretty uneventful.

A 3k swim (the first in a long time) and a strength brick session on Saturday (low rpm on the bike and high incline on the treadmill) were followed by a strength and stretch workout on Sunday.

Now it’s time to dig deep again and start a new week fresh and hungry for more :)
