As you can see if you look into the archive, I am a huge fan of books. I love reading them, I love having them in my hand or shelf. I just love what books offer to me. If I want to climb a mountain, fight monsters or find who stole the painting I just have to open a book and I am "gone".
A few months back I discovered Audible, an audio book service by Amazon. I tried it out because it was quite cheap (15 bucks or so per month and you get a free month as well). I didn't find the time to listen much to the audio books until a few weeks ago when I started listening more to podcasts (but that's a story for another time).
I have to admit that I really like it. Riding 35 to 40 minutes to work on my bike can be kicked up a notch with a good audio book. The first book I "read" was "I am Legend" and now I am listening to "The good thief's guide to Paris" by Chris Ewans and I have to say it's just awesome.
The narrators really do their best to bring you the story as real as possible and I think that I can get used to this once in a while.
Let me know what you think about it :)
Until then, try to make a difference.
